ATLANTA (AP) - Fulton County prosecutors say a former massage therapist convicted of sexually assaulting a client has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.

District Attorney’s spokeswoman Yvette Jones says 35-year-old William Stringfellow was sentenced Thursday in Superior Court.

Stringfellow was found guilty of aggravated sexual battery against a 21-year-old woman in December of 2010.

Prosecutors say Stringfellow began touching the victim inappropriately during a massage and forcibly performed sex acts on her after she repeatedly told him to stop. Officials say the victim called police from a local hospital after the incident.

Stringfellow is ordered to spend life on probation after his sentence and register as a sex offender.
