BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem has ordered a telemarketer from Massachusetts to stop doing business in North Dakota.

Stenehjem says John Galli violated North Dakota consumer fraud law. He says the Galli was doing business as Northshore Publishers, Northshore Publishing, and North Shore Marketing. He says the telemarketer was soliciting magazine renewal subscriptions by telephone and charging credit cards immediately, in violation of the state law.

Stenehjem says Galli refused to cooperate and even mocked an investigator during a telephone conversation in December.
