DETROIT (AP) - The Wayne County medical examiner’s office has released the names of three people who died when their car collided with a tractor-trailer on Detroit’s west side.
The crash happened Friday morning on the Southfield expressway’s service drive.
The Detroit Free Press (https://bit.ly/1dGxxn7 ) reports that the medical examiner’s office says the three victims all were from Detroit and says their relationship wasn’t immediately known. They’re identified as 44-year-old Tracey Thomas, 52-year-old William Thomas and 72-year-old Dorothy Thomas.
Police say the truck was northbound on the service drive and the car was eastbound on a cross street when they collided. They say the truck’s driver escaped injury.
