Man shot by officer last month in Mukilteo dies

MUKILTEO, Wash. (AP) - A homicide suspect who was shot by police at Mukilteo has died of his wounds.

Police said 34-year-old Riley Leif Ottersen died Monday at a Seattle hospital.

The Daily Herald reports (https://is.gd/P8AH2A) he was shot Feb. 16 when he pointed a gun at officers after a high-speed chase. He was suspected of shooting two people on Camano Island, killing one.
