CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Winter is taking a parting shot at New Hampshire the day before spring officially arrives on the calendar.

Snow and rain are in the forecast for Wednesday night, with some areas in the northern part of state estimated to get 5 inches of snow or higher.

The storm is expected to move out Thursday morning, with temperatures rising into the 40s and 50s.



Spring officially arrives at 12:57 p.m. Thursday.
