LUMBERTON, N.C. (AP) - A second person has been arrested and charged in the shooting death of a man in Robeson County last year.

The sheriff’s office says 25-year-old Christopher Laycell Nealey of Lumberton was charged earlier this week with first-degree murder.

Fifty-seven-year-old Forace Oxendine was found shot to death last April at a home in Fairmont.

Oxendine’s wife, 53-year-old Carol Anders, of Lumberton, was arrested last week and charged with first-degree murder, insurance fraud, obtaining property by false pretense and conspiracy.

It was not clear if Nealey has an attorney.

Maj. Anthony Thompson would not talk about Nealey’s relationship with Oxendine and Anders. Thompson said more arrests are expected.
