JERICHO, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say a 21-year-old Jericho woman who went missing during a walk with the family dog was found after a five-hour search.

Police say the parents of Maya Chobot called police at about 9:40 p.m. Monday to report she went for a walk at about 7 p.m. and had not returned.

With temperatures plummeting, the state police search and rescue team and Williston police began a search near her Randall Road home.

At about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, Williston Police Sgt. Scott Graham found Chobot walking on Williston Road near Talcott Road, about four miles away.

Chobot was taken to Fletcher Allen Health Care for medical treatment. The family dog was with Chobot and appeared to be in good health.
