ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) - A late season winter storm has dumped more than 9 inches of snow on central Minnesota.

The National Weather Service reports Collegeville had received 9.5 inches of snow by Tuesday afternoon. Avon reports 9 inches of snow, Little Falls 8 inches and Madison, New Munich and Mora 7 inches.

WJON-AM reports the Minnesota Department of Transportation has reopened the eastbound lanes of Interstate 94 near Opportunity Drive in St. Cloud. The lanes were closed earlier Tuesday due to multiple crashes.



Forecasters say the storm will continue to move across the Upper Midwest Tuesday night and into the Great Lakes area on Wednesday.
