TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Florida State basketball coach Leonard Hamilton says second-leading scorer Ian Miller is a game-time decision for the NIT opener after suffering an injury in the last game.
Miller suffered a sprained toe in the 64-51 loss to Virginia in the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament quarterfinals. He is being held out of practice Monday and is currently in a walking boot. Hamilton says there’s probably less than a 50 percent chance of Miller playing Tuesday against Florida Gulf Coast.
The senior averaged 13.7 points per game and hit a team-high 58 3-pointers this season. Miller was voted the Sixth Man of the Year by the ACC coaches.
The Seminoles (19-13) earned the No. 1 seed in the NIT and host Florida Gulf Coast (22-12) .
