Authorities ID body of woman on Pacifica shore

PACIFICA, Calif. (AP) - A woman whose body was found on the shore in Pacifica has been identified as a 48-year-old San Francisco resident.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports (https://bit.ly/Nn7smn ) the body of Uma Keshavan was found Friday afternoon at Linda Mar State Beach.

The San Mateo County Coroner’s office released her identify Sunday after notifying family members. A cause of death has not been determined.

The circumstances of her death remain under investigation.

Pacifica is about 15 miles south of San Francisco.
