2-year-old’s death investigated in eastern Mo.

BONNE TERRE, Mo. (AP) - An investigation is underway after a 2-year-old eastern Missouri child’s death.

The Daily Journal newspaper in Park Hills, Mo. (https://bit.ly/1guF9cE ) reports that Bonne Terre police responded to a home Friday night. The child was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.

An autopsy was conducted Sunday, but results are still pending. The name of the child has not been released.
