KEEDYSVILLE, Md. (AP) - The Washington County sheriff’s office says it has charged a young man with killing his grandparents at a home in Keedysville.

Deputies were called to the home Saturday evening and found two people had been stabbed to death. The victims are identified as 84-year-old Joseph Michael Minoglio and 78-year-old Peggy Minoglio, both of Keedysville.

Police in Montgomery County, Va., later located the victims’ car being driven by their grandson, 19-year-old Joseph William Minoglio. He was arrested early Sunday morning.



Investigators have charged Joseph William Minoglio with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of second-degree murder, as well as attempted murder and assault charges. He is being held in Montgomery County, Va., awaiting extradition to Maryland.
