DALTON, Ga. (AP) - Funeral services for a northwest Georgia convenience store clerk who was found dead in the business are set for Sunday.
Services for 37-year-old Dahyabhai Chaudhari will be at noon Sunday at Ponders Melrose Chapel in Dalton, with a cremation service to follow at 1 p.m.
The Daily Citizen of Dalton reports (https://bit.ly/1iInZjh) that crime lab results show that Chaudhari was killed by a stab wound to the back.
Skyy Raven Marie Mims — a 21-year-old aspiring model, dancer and rapper from Detroit — is being held on a murder charge in the March 10 slaying. Customers say the clerk was found in a pool of blood, his mouth and eyes duct-taped shut.
Chaudhari, a native of Badpura, India, was known to friends and customers as “D.K.” or Dickey.”
