BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) - Erin Boley scored 20 points as Elizabethtown defeated Clark County 71-56 Saturday in the semifinals of the KHSAA Girls’ Sweet 16.

Elizabethtown, ranked No. 2 in The Associated Press’ final regular season poll, reached the championship game for the first time since 2009 to face top-ranked Butler on Sunday.

Clark County’s Lexxus Graham cut the Elizabethtown lead to single digits with back-to-back 3’s twice in the second half.



The Region 5 champion Panthers (32-4) made 17 free throws in the fourth quarter and converted 80 percent of their attempts in the game.

Darien Huff had 17 points and Rachel Warden added 15 for Elizabethtown. Boley had eight rebounds and two steals as the Panthers scored 21 points off of 13 Lady Cardinal turnovers.

Graham had 23 points for Clark County (27-8).
