TAUNTON, Mass. (AP) - A brother and sister from Taunton are facing charges for allegedly holding a mentally disabled woman against her will, drugging her and arranging for her to have sex for a fee.

Authorities say Peterson Raymond and Johanne Raymond were arraigned Thursday on charges including trafficking a person for sexual servitude, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping and threatening to commit a crime. Both were held on bail after pleading not guilty. It was not clear who their lawyers were.

Police Chief Edward Walsh tells The Taunton Daily Gazette (https://bit.ly/1lDilwe ) authorities were alerted when the alleged victim, who’s in her 20s, went to a hospital this week because she was “pretty beat up.”

Walsh says the suspects met the alleged victim online and held her in their apartment.
