POWELL, Wyo. (AP) - An international student attending Northwest College in Powell has died after falling from a balcony at a Denver hotel.
The Powell Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/NamdbZ ) that Levy Thamba died after falling from the balcony of a Holiday Inn early Tuesday.
Thamba was an exchange student from the Republic of Congo. He started attending Northwest College in late January and apparently had traveled to Denver during the college’s spring break.
A spokesman for the Denver Police Department says the death is under investigation but that foul play is not suspected.
