CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Law enforcement officers will be out in force in Laramie County over the St. Patrick’s Day weekend patrolling for drunken drivers.
The Cheyenne area Combined DUI Task Force includes Wyoming Highway Patrol Troopers and officers from the Cheyenne Police Department, Laramie County Sheriff’s Department and Wyoming State Parks.
They will be patrolling for impaired drivers over the coming weekend. St. Patrick’s Day is Monday, March 17, and the increased patrols will start Friday and continue into early Tuesday morning.
Officers will also be on the lookout for seat belt law violators.
