RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) - State Rep. Patrick Goggles will not seek re-election to the Wyoming House of Representatives.

The Riverton Ranger reports (https://bit.ly/PoDhgx ) that Goggles, a Democrat from Ethete, announced his decision after the Legislature adjourned last week.

Goggles said in a prepared statement that it’s been an honor and a privilege for him to represent House District 33 for the past ten years. He says he wants to make way for the next generation to enact laws, allocate state revenues and set public policy.

In the House, Goggles has served in leadership positions including minority floor leader, minority whip and co-chairman of the Select Committee on Tribal Relations.
