CARLISLE, Ky. (AP) - Travel over a bridge in Nicholas County will be restricted to one lane as contractors resurface it, beginning next week and likely continuing for several weeks.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the bridge on Kentucky 386 over McBride Creek southwest of Carlisle will have deteriorated concrete removed from the surface and replaced with a new concrete overlay.
Traffic will be controlled by temporary signals.
The work is being done under a contract amounting to about $137,000 awarded to M&M Services Co. Inc.
The cabinet says the work is expected to start next week and continue through April or until the project is complete.
