MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Memphis police say they are looking for suspects in the slaying of a man who was trying to sell his car.

Police told WMC-TV (https://bit.ly/1nAbBAO ) that a group of men came to look at the vehicle Sunday evening at an apartment complex. Instead of making an offer, police say the owner was shot and the car was stolen.

Memphis Police Maj. Jeff Tow said witnesses at the complex saw the vehicle leave at a high rate of speed.

Anyone with information about the case is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.
