BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (AP) - Northeastern State University’s Broken Arrow campus plans to host the grand opening of the Lesley L. Walls Vision Center.

The 7,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility provides low vision and neuro-optometric services for clients in the greater Tulsa area. The clinic began offering services in early February, and a grand opening is planned on March 25.

Services include correction for vision impairments that cannot be remedied with ordinary eyeglasses. Care includes specialty glasses, optical magnification devices, electronic and computer-aided equipment and training techniques to accomplish activities of daily living.

The clinic includes cutting edge technology for examination, rehabilitation and training. It also includes a dispensary where patients can purchase and be fitted for custom eyewear.

In addition, the clinic provides real-world experience for learning and research for NSU students and adjunct staff.
