Nichols to lead DeSoto County schools

HERNANDO, Miss. (AP) - The DeSoto County School Board has elected Milton Nichols president.

The Commercial Appeal reports (https://bit.ly/1hTG9fg ) he replaces Ann Jolley.

Stephen Dodd was elected secretary of the five-member board, which oversees more than 40 schools in the county.
