MANDERSON, Wyo. (AP) - Flooding continues along the Bighorn River in northern Wyoming because of ice jams as the state National Guard aided efforts to protect two towns.

Guard members stacked up sand bags in Manderson and Greybull on Monday.

The National Weather Service says sandbags were used to divert water around the Manderson school and water treatment plant. No evacuations were reported.

A flood warning was posted until 3 p.m. Tuesday for the area.

The spokeswoman for the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security, Kelly Ruiz, says seven homes were damaged in Greybull over the weekend but the extent of damage to those properties wasn’t immediately clear.

Video posted by the homeland security office showed the river full of ice chunks on Sunday and a home protected by sand bags surrounded by water.
