COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott and his deputies are lending a hand to a Columbia-area church this weekend.

Lott and his deputies are slated to help put on a spaghetti dinner fundraiser at Dentsville Baptist Church on Saturday.

For $7, attendees will be served salad, spaghetti and garlic bread.

All proceeds from the event benefit the church. Lott says the congregation is currently holding services in its fellowship hall because the church sanctuary needs repairs and has been condemned.
