KEARNS, Utah (AP) - Police are searching for leads in the shooting death of a 49-year-old man in Kearns.

Investigators say the man’s body was found inside a home late Saturday afternoon and they do not believe the shooting was random.

They think the victim was targeted, but are uncertain of the motive for the shooting.

The victim’s name was not immediately released.

Witnesses told police they saw a heavy-set man in his 20s flee from the scene in a silver, four-door passenger car with a sun roof. He had long, curly hair pulled into a ponytail and was wearing a red shirt.
