SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - One of several men arrested while trying to pay for sex with underage girls during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally has been sentenced.

The U.S. attorney’s office says 28-year-old Eric Murphy, of Rapid City, got 10 years in prison and will have to register as a sex offender.

He was earlier convicted of attempted trafficking with respect to involuntary servitude and forced labor for seeking sex with a 12-year-old girl.

Prosecutors say he was arrested in August during the rally as part of a sex-trafficking undercover operation
