SCOOBA, Miss. (AP) - East Mississippi Community College license plates may soon be available.

The state of Mississippi will print the new license plates once 300 are pre-ordered, according to a news release from the school.

EMCC President Dr. Rick Young says the tag features the college’s name, logo and two national football championships. The specialty tag will cost an additional $51, of which the EMCC Development Foundation will receive $32.50 to support the college’s programs.

Young says the school has 90 days pre-sell the 300 tags. If the required 300 are pre-ordered, the tags will be available this summer.
