PORT CHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - Two people were injured in a crash in suburban New York after a SUV struck and landed on top of a parked car.
Police say it happened around 9 p.m. Wednesday on King Street in Port Chester.
They say emergency crews had to secure the vehicles before they could remove the two men inside the SUV and take them to a hospital.
The Journal News (https://lohud.us/1fetZKd ) says authorities didn’t believe their injuries were life-threatening.
Police say the SUV was traveling south on King Street when it struck the other vehicle, parked on the northbound side.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
The road remained closed until 10 p.m.
