CHICAGO (AP) - The Chicago Blues Festival’s headliners this year include Aaron Neville, Dr. John and Bettye LaVette.

The city’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events announced the festival’s top performers Tuesday. A complete lineup will be released in the spring.

The free annual festival is set for June 13-15 in Grant Park. Blues singer Bettye LaVette performs June 14.

Dr. John and Aaron Neville will close the festival on June 15 bringing the sounds of New Orleans to Chicago. Neville’s new album, “My True Story,” revisits doo-wop music, which has influenced his work as a solo artist and in the Neville Brothers. Singer-songwriter Dr. John will be touring with Neville. They will perform part of the evening together.
