BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Weather conditions have forced a delay in interviews of four candidates seeking to become the next president of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System.

The Advertiser reports (https://bit.ly/1cucW8X ) interviews to replace Joe May as president were scheduled for Wednesday but with sleet and snow predicted for Baton Rouge and freezing conditions expected again Wednesday night, the LCTCS Board of Supervisors rescheduled interviews for Friday.

Finalists are:



-Deborah Blue, chancellor of the State Center Community College District in California.

-Marie Gnage, president of West Virginia University at Parkersburg in West Virginia.

-James Henderson, chancellor of Bossier Parish Community College.

-Monty Sullivan, chancellor of Delgado Community College.

May has resigned to take a position in Dallas. He will leave his LCTCS position in February.
