RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Major utilities in North Carolina report few power outages after the snow and ice storm moving across the state.

Duke Energy reported about 700 customers without service in Catawba County.

Duke reported only about 100 customers without service in the area formerly served by Progress Energy.



Dominion Power reported only a handful of customers without service in northeastern North Carolina.
