NEW YORK (AP) - Alternate side parking regulations have been suspended in New York City due to snow overnight.

The city Department of Transportation says the parking rules are suspended for Wednesday. Payment at parking meters remains in effect.

The National Weather Service says most of the city got under an inch of snow overnight Wednesday.



The forecast for the remainder of the day calls for bitter cold, with temperatures climbing to the mid-20s and winds at 10 to 15 mph.
