Winter storm closes Causeway bridge

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The bridge linking the north and south shores of Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans has been closed as a winter storm nears.

The Lake Pontchartrain Causeway bridge is closed due to icy conditions in both directions until further notice.
