WINLOCK, Wash. (AP) - A 12-foot fiberglass egg that the town of Winlock claims is the world’s largest is now a Seahawks’ egg.

Artists have painted the Seattle football team’s logo on the egg with the number 12 on one end in honor of the fans.

The Daily News reports (https://bit.ly/1lk9ymK ) plans to paint the egg hatched through Facebook exchanges.

The main artist responsible for the work, Ron Gaul, says if Seattle wins the Super Bowl the Seahawks logo will remain on the egg until next fall.

The egg nestled in a city park pays homage to the days when the town was the center of Lewis County egg farms and poultry processors.
