PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) - A 22-year-old man charged in a fatal shooting outside a Pueblo bar has been sentenced to six years in prison.
The Pueblo Chieftain reports (https://bit.ly/1hKLa85 ) District Judge David Crockenberg sentenced Randy Quaduor on Monday for the July 2012 death of 40-year-old David Sanchez. Quaduor previously struck a deal with prosecutors and pleaded guilty to reckless manslaughter.
Authorities say Quaduor fired a pistol at Sanchez’ car as Sanchez was fleeing the parking lot of bar following a confrontation. Quaduor says he fired in self-defense because he saw Sanchez pull a gun and point it in his direction.
Police found a pellet gun in Sanchez’ car.
