HARVEY, La. (AP) - Jefferson Parish authorities have closed the heavily trafficked Lapalco Bridge to vehicle traffic.
Officials say ice has accumulated on the bridge’s steel deck. It will be closed until weather conditions improve.
The bridge crosses the Harvey Canal in an industrial area of Jefferson’s west bank.
