FROSTBURG, Md. (AP) - Frostburg State University is remaining closed as another cold snap settles in on western Maryland.

The school in Frostburg initially cancelled classes from Monday evening until Tuesday afternoon, but officials have now canceled all Tuesday classes. Both Allegany and Garrett counties closed public schools on Tuesday.

The National Weather Service predicts a high temperature Tuesday in Frostburg of 9 degrees.
