NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Federal agents are executing search warrants at a North Little Rock photo archive that has digitized tens of millions of photographs.
FBI spokeswoman Kimberly Brunell confirmed that agents were conducting “official business” Tuesday at the Rogers Photo Archive and at the home of its owner, John Rogers. Brunell wouldn’t comment on what was being investigated.
Attorney Blake Hendrix, who represents Rogers, says the FBI is serving search warrants at Rogers’ home and business but says it’s unclear what the agents are looking for. Hendrix tells the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (https://bit.ly/1i80OLE ) that Rogers has not been arrested or been advised that he would be charged with any crime.
Rogers Photo Archive has digitized and licensed millions of photos, including many historic images from newspaper archives.
