BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. (AP) - A Colorado Springs woman has been charged with child abuse negligence in connection with the near drowning of an unsupervised child at a hot tub at the Grand Lodge in Breckenridge.

Bianca Krakofsky is scheduled to appear in Summit County Court on Wednesday.

According to the Summit Daily (https://tinyurl.com/mpfyy66 ), a 5-year-old child was in Krakofsky’s foster care in October when the child was found unconscious in a hot tub.

District Attorney Bruce Brown says adults are responsible for children in their care.

An attorney for Krakofsky did not return a phone call Tuesday seeking comment.
