DENVER (AP) - An 85-year-old man suspected in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Denver has been arrested.

Police say Marshall Smith was arrested Monday for the Jan. 9 death of 63-year-old Leanna Hund, who was hit while walking across Colorado Boulevard near East Exposition Avenue.

Witnesses led police to Smith’s vehicle, which was found at his south Denver home.

Hund was in a crosswalk when she was struck.
