ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A Belen man convicted in a 2006 fatal accident involving drunken driving has been arrested in Valencia County in another fatal accident.

Authorities say 27-year-old Jacob Williams is jailed in lieu of $20,000 bond on charges of vehicular homicide and aggravated driving while intoxicated.

KOB-TV (https://bit.ly/1f73J4v ) reports that the Saturday accident instantly killed 51-year-old Daniel Sanchez and critically injured his 11-year-old daughter. They were thrown from a motorcycle into a roadside field.

Williams has been released from prison after serving part of a six-year sentence on convictions of vehicular homicide and driving under the influence.

Those convictions stemmed from a 2006 accident in which a motorcyclist was killed and a passenger critically injured.

It’s not immediately known whether Williams has a lawyer in the current case.
