JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) - A student from California who allegedly made threats that led to a brief lockdown of a college campus in North Dakota is to stand trial in three months.

Eighteen-year-old Robert Flores, of Southgate, Calif., is to stand trial April 21-22 on a charge of felony terrorizing. He has pleaded not guilty to the charge that carries a maximum punishment of five years in prison upon conviction.

Flores allegedly threatened to kill three students at the University of Jamestown and drink their blood as part of a satanic ritual last Nov. 7. The alleged threats led to a half-hour lockdown of the campus while authorities searched for the student.

Flores’ father, Ronald Flores, has said his son was just joking around.
