LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Police in Little Rock are looking for a suspect who they say fatally shot a man and injured another person in a west Little Rock neighborhood.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1i1kSPF ) that the shooting occurred Saturday night. Police allege that 27-year-old Steven Roshawn Hayes of Little Rock fatally shot Shoncoven Smith at a residence. Police say Hayes also fired “several rounds” at another unidentified person who had tried to run from the area, striking him several times. Police say he survived his injuries.
The police department says arrest warrants for first-degree murder, battery and firearm possession by “certain persons” have been issued for Hayes.
Police say Hayes should be considered armed and dangerous.
