KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) - A 20-year-old Somers man who police say took part with two others in the beating of another man with a golf club has pleaded not guilty to felony criminal endangerment and misdemeanor assault.

The Daily Inter Lake reports (https://bit.ly/1laEdCM) that Gaige Mower made the plea Thursday in Flathead District Court.

He faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine up to $50,500. His next hearing is set for March 5.



Police say that on July 4 Mower and 19-year-old Kalispell residents Andrew Nelson and Ryan Horn assaulted another man with a golf club until it broke.

Nelson has pleaded guilty to felony assault with a weapon. Horn pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault.

Nelson is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 13.
