PHOENIX (AP) - Police in Phoenix have located a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that left one man dead.

Sgt. Trent Crump says the victim, a young adult male, was walking on a path near 27th Avenue and Westland Road early Saturday when he was struck by a car that left the roadway.

Crump says the driver fled the scene without notifying authorities or trying to administer aid.

He did not say if police have the driver in custody.
