NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) - North Las Vegas police have posted a video of a man they say injured a 79-year-old woman while trying to snatch her purse outside a casino last week.
Officer Aaron Patty said Friday that surveillance video shows the man running out of the Cannery Casino at Craig and Losee roads about 2:40 p.m. Jan. 16, grabbing the woman’s purse and pushing her to the ground in the parking lot.
The woman treated for minor injuries, but didn’t lose her purse.
Police say the would-be robber fled in a silver Volkswagen Jetta.
The assault suspect is believed to be between 17 and 25 years old with brown hair.
The man driving the Jetta is described as being between 18 and 25 with short brown hair and a mustache.
