FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The Southeastern Conference has named Arkansas’ Omar McLeod as its freshman track athlete of the week after the Razorbacks defeated Texas in a dual meet.

McLeod won the 200-meter dash last Friday at the Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville. His time of 21.09 seconds ranks him among the top 12 nationally this season.

He also ran 60 meters in 7.76 seconds, ranking fourth nationally and the third-best all-time at Arkansas.

Arkansas will host the Razorback Invitational on Jan. 31.
