JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - Anchorage Rep. Charisse Millett missed the opening day of the state Legislature Tuesday after being hospitalized for back problems.
Millett aide Jeff Turner says the Republican was admitted to a Juneau hospital Monday after experiencing back pain.
He says Millett could be discharged Wednesday though he says she may have to be at home for a few days before returning to the Capitol.
