LAS VEGAS (AP) - Firefighters say a family of four and their pet dog escaped a pre-dawn fire that damaged of their home in a golf course development southwest of Las Vegas.

Deputy Clark County Fire Chief Erik Newman says the garage and two cars were ablaze in the driveway when firefighters arrived a little after 4 a.m. Monday at the home on Fairway Woods Drive.

That’s in the Rhodes Ranch Golf Club, near Fort Apache and Warm Springs roads.



No one was injured in the fire.

Damage was estimated at $75,000. The cause was being investigated by the Clark County fire investigators.
