CLEVELAND (AP) - Cleveland police say a 1-year-old girl was submerged in scalding water this weekend at a home on the city’s East Side, severely burning her.
Police told The Plain Dealer (https://bit.ly/1ji9IGF) on Sunday that a 23-year-old man has been arrested on a child-endangering charge but did not release his identity.
A police report says that paramedics responded to a report of an unconscious toddler on Saturday afternoon.
The report says the girl sustained second-degree burns from the waist down. She was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.
Police have declined to release further information.
